How to improve the work efficiency of spot welding machines?

1. Before welding, check the workpiece surface for dirt. Accumulated oxide layers and rust can lead to substandard welds. (Acid pickling and sandblasting can remove the oxide film. Workpieces that haven't been acid-washed are unsuitable for welding.)

 

2. Before operation, check all transmission, connection, lubrication, and protective devices of the equipment for integrity.

 

3. Regularly drain the cooling water to ensure the medium-frequency welding machine's cooling system is operating normally.

 

4. Keep the machine clean and check the contact and insulation of all parts. After use, disconnect the power supply and stop the supply of compressed air and cooling water.

 

5. When repairing the motor and replacing coils, a pneumatic spot welder with low voltage and high current can be used to dry and dehumidify the stator and rotor coils, replacing the drying box.

 

6. During use, pay attention to the equipment's condition. Under normal use, the equipment will emit stable exhaust, pressure, and discharge sounds. If the machine runs slowly, sluggishly, or makes abnormal noises, disconnect the power supply and troubleshoot.

 

7. Adjust the appropriate welding parameters according to the workpiece to be wave welded. The welding current should not be too high or too low, as an inappropriate welding current will increase the probability of weld defects.
