The spot welding machine adopts strong standard welding, that is, high current for a short time, which increases the heat generation of the contact resistance between the workpieces and reduces the heat dissipation of the electrodes. Capacitor energy storage welding machines and medium-frequency spot welding machines can weld workpieces with a large thickness ratio using large current and short power-on time. These are obvious examples.
1. Use electrodes with different surface diameters. Use a smaller diameter on one side of thin parts or workpieces with good electrical and thermal conductivity to increase the current density on this side and reduce the impact of electrode heat dissipation.
2. Use different electrode materials, and use copper alloy with poor thermal conductivity on the side of thin parts or workpieces with good electrical and thermal conductivity to reduce heat loss on this side.
3. Use process gasket: Place a gasket made of metal with poor thermal conductivity on one side of the thin part or the workpiece with good electrical and thermal conductivity to reduce heat dissipation on this side.
