Introduction To Quenching Machines

Jul 18, 2026 Leave a message

A quenching machine is an industrial device that uses high-frequency current (30K-1000KHZ) to locally heat and cool the surface of a workpiece to obtain a surface hardened layer; it falls under the category of induction heating technology. Its core components include an inductor made of hollow copper tubing, an IGBT module, and an independent water circulation system.

It can perform induction quenching on parts such as shafts and gears. Taking a medium-thick plate roller quenching machine as an example, the equipment typically consists of a fixed frame, a moving frame, conveyor rollers, a lifting mechanism, and a water spray system. It adopts a dual-module structure with high-pressure and medium-pressure quenching zones and a slit-type nozzle system. The equipment integrates hydraulic multi-cylinder synchronous control technology and is equipped with a process automatic control system based on a programmable logic controller. It can process steel plates with thicknesses ranging from 6-100mm.
