Wire Mesh Spot Welding Machine

A wire mesh spot welding machine is a specialized resistance welding system designed for the automated production of welded wire mesh. Using multiple welding heads operating simultaneously, it fuses longitudinal and transverse wires at their intersections to create structurally sound mesh panels with precise aperture dimensions. These machines are widely used in the mass production of fencing, storage shelves, warehouse cages, concrete reinforcement mesh, refrigerator shelves, and more.

Unlike single-point spot welding, wire mesh welding machines perform dozens or even hundreds of welds in a single cycle, achieving productivity levels far beyond manual welding. Equipped with multiple welding heads or electrode arrays (commonly 6–48 heads), each cycle completes an entire row of transverse wire welds simultaneously. Compared to single-point welders, production efficiency increases by several times to dozens of times, significantly shortening cycle times.

Highly Automated - One Operator, Multiple Machines
PLC intelligent control systems with HMI/touchscreen interfaces: longitudinal wires are automatically fed and straightened from coils; transverse wires are precisely positioned via auto-drop mechanisms; servo or stepper motors drive the indexing mechanism for accurate mesh size control; and automatic cutting completes the process. Only 1–2 operators are needed for machine monitoring and coil changes.

Strong, Flat Welds - No Deformation
Using resistance spot welding principles, high current instantly forms weld nuggets at wire intersections. Welds are strong, smooth, and leave no visible marks. Pneumatic electrode pressure systems with adjustable force accommodate different wire diameters, ensuring consistent weld strength.

Flexible Wire Diameter and Mesh Size Adjustment
Supports a wide range of wire diameters (0.4–12mm) and mesh apertures (1/4 inch to 200mm). Electrode spacing can be adjusted via lead screws or servo systems for rapid product changeovers, accommodating diverse production requirements.

Water Cooling System - Sustained Operation
High-power models feature water-cooled transformers and electrode cooling circuits (approx. 3L/min flow rate), effectively managing temperature rise for extended continuous operation and consistent weld quality.
