1. For on-site use, a rainproof, moisture-proof, and sun-proof shed should be provided, and appropriate fire-fighting equipment should be installed.
2. Flammable and explosive materials such as oil, wood, oxygen cylinders, and acetylene generators must not be stored within 10 meters of the welding site.
3. Welding operators and cooperating personnel must wear personal protective equipment as required. Safety measures must be taken to prevent accidents such as electric shock, falls from heights, gas poisoning, and fires.
4. The secondary tap connection copper plate should be tightened, and the terminal block should have a washer. Before closing the switch, the wiring nuts, bolts, and other components should be carefully inspected to ensure they are intact, complete, and free from looseness or damage. All terminal blocks should have protective covers.
5. Before use, check and confirm that the primary and secondary wiring is correct, the input voltage conforms to the welding machine's nameplate specifications, and understand the type and applicable range of welding current for the spot welding machine. After connecting the power supply, it is strictly forbidden to touch the live parts of the primary circuit. Protective covers must be installed at the primary and secondary wiring connections.
6. When moving a spot welding machine, the power supply should be disconnected. Do not move the machine by dragging the cable. If a power outage occurs during welding, the power supply should be disconnected immediately.
7. When welding non-ferrous metals such as copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, and lead, it must be done in a well-ventilated area. Welders should wear respirators or breathing filters.
8. When multiple spot welding machines are used together, they should be connected to a three-phase power network to ensure balanced three-phase load. The grounding devices of multiple welding machines should be connected separately to their respective grounding electrodes and should not be connected in series.
9. Welding is strictly prohibited on operating pressure pipelines, containers containing flammable and explosive materials, and load-bearing structural components.
10. When welding preheated parts, baffles should be used to isolate the radiant heat emitted by the preheated parts.
