Products Description
Aluminum alloys, with their low density (approximately one-third that of steel) and excellent strength-to-weight ratio, have become the material of choice for lightweighting strategies in new energy vehicles, aerospace, and beyond. However, the high thermal and electrical conductivity of aluminum, combined with its surface oxide layer (approx. 2050℃ melting point) and the chemical affinity between copper electrodes and aluminum, pose significant challenges for resistance spot welding. Aluminum typically requires two to three times higher welding currents than steel, while severe electrode wear and frequent reconditioning drive up manufacturing costs and constrain production cycles.
Our aluminum spot welding machines are purpose-built to overcome these challenges. Featuring MFDC technology with 1000Hz output and millisecond-level precision, they deliver concentrated energy in an instant, overcoming rapid heat dissipation in aluminum to form strong, clean, and highly consistent welds. Coupled with optimized electrode designs and robust water cooling, these machines significantly extend electrode life and reduce total production costs.

Key Technical Advantages

MFDC Technology - Precise and Stable
Three-phase power is rectified and inverted to 1000Hz DC output - zero reactance and immune to secondary circuit variations. Balanced three-phase input delivers a high power factor, achieving over 40% energy savings compared to conventional AC welders. Fast current rise time and fine adjustability, with millisecond-level control precision, make it ideal for short-duration aluminum welding.
High Current Output - Overcoming Aluminum's Heat Dissipation
Aluminum's thermal conductivity is approximately four times that of steel, causing rapid heat dissipation during welding. Our machines deliver up to 80KA short-circuit current (model dependent), concentrating energy in the weld zone within milliseconds to ensure proper nugget formation. Select models achieve aluminum welding capacity up to 4.5+4.5mm.
Powerful Water Cooling - Sustained Operation
Welding transformers feature epoxy resin casting with internal water cooling - insulation class F. Independent water cooling circuits for electrodes, transformers, and SCRs with flow rates of 6–12L/min ensure stable performance during continuous high-current operation.
High-Rigidity Frame - Consistent Weld Quality
Heavy-duty steel plate box construction with cast iron alloy head ensures ample rigidity and impact resistance. Precision guide bearings and wear-resistant alloy shaft sleeves deliver accurate electrode alignment with minimal deflection - essential for high-quality aluminum welding.
Intelligent Control - Full Traceability
Microcomputer-based control systems support constant current/voltage/multi-pulse modes with voltage compensation (3-cycle response, ±15% range) and current slope functions. Multiple welding schedules can be stored, with feedback systems enabling constant current or voltage output for batch-to-batch consistency.
