How To Achieve A Spotless Surface During Spot Welding?

Many customers, when purchasing spot welding machines, require a seamless surface after welding the base material. So how can this be achieved?

 

1. Welding Power Supply Selection: It is recommended to use a medium-frequency inverter DC power supply. Medium-frequency inverter DC power supplies have high thermal efficiency, requiring less heating time for the same weld nugget, preventing welding deformation caused by prolonged heating, and minimizing deformation to achieve a seamless single-sided spot weld.

 

2. Welding Machine Structure Selection: It is recommended to use a platform-type spot welding machine. The large platform of a platform-type spot welding machine can effectively support the workpiece, increase the conductive area, and quickly dissipate the heat after welding, thus minimizing welding deformation and achieving seamless spot welding.

 

3. Welding Method Selection: Using single-sided double-point welding allows current to pass through the workpiece body, while the other side receives less heat input. Combined with planar electrode support, this effectively avoids weld marks.
